TCS film club

Sorry members I got to update you about my film club
in total till now I have done around 3 screenings and still I am looking forward to do 1 or 2. In my first screening the chief guest was Dr. Mallika Sarabhai. It was a pleasure to have her and inaugurate my Film Club. I showcased The secrets of the furious five-Kung Fu Panda which talks about Excellence of Life and its elements. In my second screening I invited Cyrus Dastur who is the founder of Shamiana - The Short Film Club and I showcased films which were based on hunger and povery and other social issues. In my third screening I invited Madhusudan Agrawal who is the founder of MAM Movies Society, I showcased films which were based on riots that happened in Tienanmen square (china), Poverty, Child marriage etc.
Most probably I will be having my last screening at a large scale

WHEN WILL MY CLUB START

My film club will start from 17th September and it will end somewhere in January.

What is a personal project?

The Personal Project is an independent research project that a student produces in the 10th grade. It is a creative endeavour of the student's choosing that demonstrates the skills the student has learned in Approaches to Learning. Assessment of the Personal Project is based on a set of 8 specific criteria that are normalized to a scale of 1--7. The Personal Project is designed to demonstrate the student's ability to organize, create, and complete a significant body of work. Personal Projects can take many forms, such as:

• CREATING A ECO FRIENDLY FARM HOUSE
• MAKING A BUSINESS PLAN
• HELPING A NGO
• DESIGNING A DRESS
• OPENING A ART EXIBITION

MY PERSONAL PROJECT

MY PERSONAL PROJECT IS TO INITIATE A FILM CLUB FOR MY SCHOOL. BASICALLY MY CLUB WILL SHOWCASE SOME OF THE DOCUMENTARIES AND SHORT FILMS WHICH ARE INFORMATIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. ALSO I WILL SCREEN SOME INSPIRATIONAL FEATURE FILMS. THE FILMS THAT I AM GOING TO SELECT WILL BE FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD AND I AM THE FIRST ONE TO START A FILM CLUB IN MY SCHOOL
